10) Curtly Ambrose (West Indies) : At Number 10  is West Indies Legendary bowler Curtly Ambrose.  He was 6 feet 7 inches & he can bounce the ball on any pitch he plays. Curtly Ambrose played 98 tests and bolwed 1000+ maiden deliveries .He took 405 wickets at an average of 20.99 and topped the ICC Player Rankings for much of his career.This clearly proves  that what a bowler he was. He was chosen as one of the Wisden Cricketers of the year in 1992.

  9) Wasim Akram (Pakistan) :  At Number 9  is “Wasim Akram- Sultan of Swing”. He was the first bowler to reach the 500-wicket landmark in ODI cricket during the 2003 World Cup.In 2002 Wisden released its only list of best players of all time. Wasim was ranked as the best bowler in ODI of all time with a rating of 1223.5, ahead of Allan Donald, Imran Khan, Waqar Younis, Joel Garner, Glen McGrath and Muralitharan.

Akram is regarded as one of the greatest fast bowlers in the history of cricket. He holds the world record for most wickets in ListA cricker with 881 and is second only to Srilankan offspin bowler, Muralidharan in terms of ODI wickets with 502. He is considered to be one of the founders and perhaps the finest exponent of  reverseswing bowling.

8) Courtney Walsh ( West Indies):  At Number 8  is Another West Indies fast bowler “Courtney Walsh”. In 1988–89 at Brisbane he took a ‘complicated’ hat trick, dismissing Australia’s  Dodemaide with the last ball of the first innings and Veletta and  wood with his first two deliveries in the second. During that winter he also took 10 wickets in a Test match for the first time against India in Kingston.

In 1995, he took 62 Test wickets at an average of 21.75 runs per wicket, a performance which he bettered in 2000 when he took 66 Test wickets at an average of 18.69, including 34 wickets in the Test series against england at an average of 12.82 runs per wicket. Coming close to the record for a West Indian bowler of 35 wickets in a Test series (set by Marshall in 1988). In the 1990s, his partnership with Ambrose was one of the most feared bowling attacks in world cricket.

7) Shaun Pollock (South Africa):  At Number 7 is Shaun Pollock. He is the leading wicket taker among South Africans, taking over 400 test wickets and scoring over 3,700 test runs in his 108 Test matches.On 11 January 2008 he announced his retirement from all forms of international cricket after his 303rd ODI on 3 February.

6)Dennis Lillee (Australia):  At Number 6  is Dennis Lillee. By the time of his retirement from international cricket in 1984 he had become the then world record holder for most Test wickets (355), and had firmly established himself as one of the most recognisable and renowned Australian sportsmen of all time.Few, if any batsmen ever looked forward to facing Lillee, as they knew they would be in for a tough time.

5)Sir Richard Hadlee (New Zealand) :  At Number 5  is Richard Hadlee. Hadlee was the first bowler to ever pass the 400 Test wickets mark. It was often said that Hadlee always thought ‘what would Lillee do?’ when trying to get his man out.
The Kiwi went on to eclipse his idol with 431 Test wickets and an average of just 22.29. It had been said that, Sir Hadlee had the special ability to turn any match. New Zealand has got many excellent fast bowlers but, among the best of them is Richard Hadlee. He was also inducted into ICC Cricket Hall of Fame in 2009.

4) Glenn McGrath ( Austalia):
At Number 4  in  my list of “Top 10 Greatest Bowlers of all time” is  Austrailian legendary fast bowler GlennMcGrath. Mcgrath was a key reason for Australia’s domination of cricket since the mid 90s. His 563 Test wickets is the most any fast bowler has ever got, and fourth in the all time list. He has also taken more World Cup wickets than any other player. His average of 21.64 from 124 Tests is one of the best you will find on this star-studded list.

3) Anil Kumble (India):  Anil Kumble from India is another important name is bowling history of world cricket and therefore Kumble is at Number Three in my list of”Top 10 Greatest Bowlers of all time”. Kumble is leg break spin bowler. He is not a big turner of ball still, his accurate line ,length and googly was so effective that he became one of the successful bowling history. He has taken more than 950 wickets (956 wickets to be exact) and third most wicket taker in international cricket. anil Top 10

2)Shane Warne(Australia) : The third and final Aussie to be featured on this list of Top 10 Greatest Bowlers of all time, Shane Warne is the greatest leg-spin bowler in cricket history. One of only two men to have achieved over 700 Test match wickets, he was the only bowler to be voted as one of the five Wisden Cricketers of the Century. He is popular to a huge amount of fans around the world, but because of his outspoken personality is unpopular among many more. shane warne

Leg break is one the difficult ball to control the line and lenght. Still, no one can argue that, Shane Warne is in the top 2 after the fact that, Shane Warne took more than 900 wickets in International cricket bowling leg break and most bowling in Australian pitch which does not support spin bowling.

Muttiah Muralitharan undoubtedly greatest bowler who ever played cricket is at At Number One Postion in my list of “Top 1o Greatest Bowlers of all time”   Muralithan has taken more than 1300 wickets in international cricket and he is the highest wicket taker in both forms of cricket. Murali is without doubt the greatest off-spinner of all time,His most potent weapon is perhaps his infamous doosra, which no-one has been able to master like he has done.
There is no bowler who even come close to Muttiah MuralitharanMuttiah Muralitharan numbers show that in  cricket, not only was he the greatest, he was in a league of his own.
